Hi.
Looking for a steering damper to fit my HONDA RRV 1997 model
Heard a lot about the possibility of tank slapping due to the 16inch wheel?? Can’t afford that to happen at my age and the cost I have spent to get the bike back on the road after it had some fairing damage. I know the new ones are about 2-£300 I hope to get one a lot cheaper??

Hi Ozzie,
Ihad a 95 RRR for 10 years and never had a tank slap or even a wobble, ride the bike and make your own mind up about the 16in front wheel. When I got mine everyone said they caused trouble but I loved it.

lol...i dont really like steering dampers either...but the HESD works extremely well i guess because i never know its there and never have the slaps

Still pondering over it at the moment but thinking of a sprint pro race with the fitting kit and trying to persuade the owner let me have it for under £200, :hmm::blahblah:
