Woot : One Day, One Deal

I rarely cross post crap like this but thought some of the crowd here may be interested.
It's cheap enough to 'just have around' at that price, even if it is the 05 maps etc. I have 05 and uh...it's pretty on the $.

The way woot works for those that don't know is they have 1 item per day until it's sold out, or has been up 24 hours. The site 'reloads' it's one item every night @ midnight CST. Unfortunately, this is why I'll never be to bed before one...its like an addiction, nevermind the woot-offs :D

anyways:

He's a smart dude and all, but you should always use complete sentences. Prolly start with an agreement to look at less porn or something...which would be lying, so...prolly not much sense in finishing the sentence anyways...you make a good point :thumb: ;)

Thanks dude! :thumb:

I just ordered one, I figure it will work with the laptop and hopefully I can get it working with my new Mot Q... I can most likely get the 2006 software from someone at Msft if I need it (legally) but the hardware is much harder to come by, seems like a really good deal and I travel a bunch so I bet it will be handy!

Your very welcome :thumb:
Yeah I have seen the sw and transceiver seperately for 40$ and 50$ each...but the whole pack for that is decent. Not to mention I have 2k6 and a non-m$oft usb dongle thing and it doesen't work all the time (for S&T), kinda weird. Thought about getting this one but..meh.

On the Q you will have a little mapquest type interface or if you get a bluetooth GPS you can have it move you along in realtime. The only downside is that you have to download and maintain the map database for the regions you want to travel to (on your device). I bought a 2gig card for mine so I don't care - but each map is about ~500k depending where you're at so it could get sizely.

:thumb: Got my Streets and Trips with GPS today, I haven't installed it yet but all looks good. Six business days to my door for 5 bucks shipping, I would say they have their act together, I would order from them again if something looks good.

Thanks again SSG!

Just noticed this -your very welcome and I'm glad to hear it :thumb:
My experiences have always been about the same, though sometimes they suprise me...boss bought a dvd recorder and had it 2 days later :idunno:

I've spent a small fortune with them recently...dual band WiFi AP for 20$, WiFi finders....but the Logitech BT headsets are the awesomest things I've gotten yet...with A2DP via BT on my 8125 or attached to my ipod - no wires and awesome sound quality :)
