Hi all am after some advice please.
I have an 05 zx10r with 6800 miles on it it still has the origional chain and sprockets on and they are in good condition I clean and lube the chain regularly.
My question is
Can I just change the rear sprocket without changing the chain I wanted a gold SUPERSPROX tri metal one but as the chain is good I don't want too ditch it if I don't need too.
Any help will be appreciated thanks all.

You should always change the chain ans sprockets as a set since they wear in together. There are exceptions to this such as racing, where a team might have many different combos. You already have 6800 miles on the chain better change it. Also, the supersprox warranty only covers certain types of chains and I'm sure they want you to use a new one.

Rite thanks for that I may just wait for a while as there should be a fair bit of life left in the chain I think ?
