Anyone know if there is a way to lube the throttle cables without removing the tank and air box to get to the throttle bodies?

The clutch cable is a cinch, but the throttle cable definitely needs attention.

It's a 2001 929.

i used this thing to lube the clutch cable and it works fantastic
cable luber use
havent tried it on the throttle, but cant see why it shouldnt work.
I have one of these and it will work on the throttle. The reason you haven't used it on your throttle is probably the same reason I haven't: tearing my bike apart.

Perhaps take the opportunity to catch up on all the other maintenance items you've avoided for the same reason then?
