Would any local places carry a Chain Press Tool? How about a hardware store or a place like that? I would like to ride my bike this weekend, but I need a chain press tool to get the new chain on, and my buddy is away for the weekend.

Thanks,
Jay

I don't know if this is an option for you, but I usually throw my bike in the van and take it to my nearest dealer. I cut the chain to length and get the new sprockets already on before leaving. It takes them about 5 minutes to pin the chain and they usually don't charge anything.

Why not put on the clip, temporarily, and ride it to the dealer and have them do it properly?

I'm all set for now. I have the master link on, but I have ordered a press tool, which should be here Tuesday. Thanks for all the help.
