Part of 'learning' is that mistakes have consequences. My first memory of learning to ride a bike is when my father let go for the first time and I promptly rode right into a parked car. Lesson one: pedal backwards = brakes.

I 'learned' to ride a rocket in a grass field on the back of a bike 'learning' how to fall (slide). Two months of this and then I was allowed to do slow-speed parking lot, MSF-type drills. Lesson one: sliding = less broken bones.

I learned to respect the machine and the physics involved before I could get into less survivable conditions. You have to crash at 30mph before you can do it at 100mph. Lesson one: ride within your limits, not the bike's.

It's a neat engineering feat, but it takes away the 30mph get off and instantaneously allows you to get to the 100mph level. When you feel no pain you know no fear. When you know no fear at 100mph, you die ignorant.
