I have the MIG undertail on my 954. I personally love it but you better have a dyno tuner who knows what they are doing since just putting it on is a power loss. My guys are awesome so I managed to get power back out of it!!

There is also the Wolf undertail exhaust but my opinion it's complete garbage. Sounds like crap, looks like crap and it's an instant UN-tunable power loss.

how much did you pay for it johnny?
:rotfl:

I looked for the MIG exhaust for almost 2 years before I found someone willing to part with it. At the time it cost me $800ish I believe plus shipping which was an absolute steal. They are very hard to come by. I've seen them any other time for sale around $1200 ... they sold for about $1900 brand new.

If you do find one you are willing to buy make sure it comes with EVERYTHING!!

1) All the exhaust peices (it's a 1/2 exhaust ... connects to the HTEV valve)
2) Carbon fiber battery tray ( you loose all your trunk space )
3) It sold new with a carbon fiber undertail as well (I've never been able to find this peice)

Good luck!!!

i am open to idea's and the fabricator will be ME:evilaugh:
I'll take some very up close pics for you if you like so you can try to fab it out. You'll have to make it go OVER the swing arm like you see on mine as there is just no room to route the exhaust in the rear shcok well like you see on the 1000RR's.

By the way ... those farrings make it to you ok?

Here's mine :)

I've sence replaced the existing can with a yoshi RS-5 carbon fiber oval. I also did the work under the set to mount the can and license plate. The exhaust midpipe was custom made by Werner Muffler in Oceanside, CA. The Midpipe comes off the 4 to 2 and removes the baffles just at the 4 into 2 and the pipe is 1/4 larger from the 2 into 1 to the can. Left the HTEV intact and working. If you don't you loose the low end. The top end after a custom map is slightly more than a slipon and less than a full system. If I had some extra $$ I would have purchased a D&D header which is a 4 into X setup and went 4 to 2 to 1 (just my personal preference). The 2 piece midpipe was $400, ceramic coating was $100, hardware for mounting was $25, Yoshi RS-5 carbon for CBR1000RR was $320, intergrated tail light $65, and custom map was $700 ( custom map was an experiment of mine where i develope my own tuning link program in excel). It's a lot but it's all mine and looks great.
