The main problem you'll run into is clearance of everything.

I had custom Harris on mine and the stops had to be set so tight the thing had the turning radius of a Peterbuilt.

The Vortex top clamp is just that - a top clamp. It isn't a full triple clamp that is noticibly stiffer or allows for adjustments. Sure, they say it's stronger and will help eliminate fork flex, but hard racing also claims their "ram air" for the 929 made massive improvements.

Hard racing makes a ram air kit for the 929?
