Never had any issues with the bike until last night...

Was out for about an hour, total travel distance was about 70 odd miles, weather was the usual heavy rain for this time of year.
Came off a motorway and sat at a roundabout set of lights, went to pull away and the bike stalled and refused to start, was like a flat battery.
Called home for assistance (luckily only 5 mins from home), the gorgeous good lady cam with tools, a light (did I mention it was dark as well as rainy  lol)
Bike jump started fine and ran but it is totally dead???

Anyway off to have a hunt to find what the issue is... will report back later

well rectifier seems to be toast but in the absence of a multi meter, which resides back at work I have removed the stator also for testing and may just replace both for peace of mind, but visually it looks ok. Will replace it with a 639 rather than the original 633 as the heatsink should perform better.
Wiring passes visual inspection so nothing burnt out in that department.
Plus it allows me to refinish the cover as it has a little bit of peeling on the chrome and chrome is for Harley's, I don't have a Harley, I have a real bike...

And real bikes have a satin finish....

:D
