Well, because I got the first one out of the dealer I paid MSRP which is $10,999 in the US. None of the dealers could guarantee delivery before June and I was not going to wait. Screw the money, I'm riding :rotfl:
The best price in SoCal that I found was $11.3k out the door (bike, prep, setup, tax, license, everything). Considering that sticker was $11k and this is probably the most expensive market, I was pleased.
Now that the bikes have hit the street, the dealers are actually dealing a bit more. My local dealer had stock of all new liter bikes the other day.
