I woke my guy up after a LEO-forced one month hibernation.
Took him out for a ride to get some of the rust off the disks, and blast some fresh fuel through the pipes.....
God, I love the Autobahn!

I replaced my clutch last week. Starting yesterday, it's nice and sunny here, so I took the bike out for a good 80km fang.
A real good, WOT run on the Autobahn to burn off last years gas.

Weather is a bit shitty in Germany at the moment, so no, I haven't been doing much with my bike.
I've been working on Club Mates bikes instead. One guy has an old KZ750 he hauled out of the shed, and had me rebuild it enough to sell.
BTW- Good call on the Goodridge lines! Reminded me I need to grab a set.
NO idea how old the rubber lines are! Could be original.....

Just heading off to the Post to pick up my brake lines, FINALLY!!!
Only been it transit for a month! Funny, it took me two days to ride from Nurnberg to Manchester, but it takes a month for something to go from Norf London to Nurnberg!
Anyway, that's my plan for the rest of the day. Change brake and clutch lines.

Oh, I am NOT happy with my €185 brake lines!
They needed two weeks to custom make my bespoke brake lines.
Motherfucker, please!
The ONLY line that fits right (but with a 1\4 twist) is the rear brake line.

Clutch line two inches too long!

The spacer for the Fronts is too small, and there is NO way to secure the other side!
The line on the right-hand side just flops the fuck around!
I'd say, aside from trying to fit them, they look Quality made!

Man, I am just DONE with Goodridge! I have to be ready for a Club Ride on Saturday, and the fuckwits are dragging their feet!
They send me a flurry of emails, demanding all kinds of info, right away.
And then nothing!
Four emails, back and forth yesterday before lunch. Since then, nothing!
If I could do it and get away with it, I'd burn their fucking offices to the ground!

But, at the moment, I'm still stuck with a Liter-Bike that has no brakes, and a Club-Ride scheduled for Saturday.
It is going to take a MAMMOTH sized miracle to sort this out in time!

Demo = Demonstration.
German Politicians are trying to forbid motorcycle riding on Sundays and Religious Holidays.
6,000 people showed up in Nurnberg today to tell them it's a bad idea.

So, after days spent haggling, persuading, threatening and abusing, the Brits at Goodridge have finally issued me a refund.
They made me promise that the brake lines have been disposed of and will not find their way onto another machine.
I promised that they were.
The local product (Louis – Europe's number 1 for motorcycle clothing and technology) is better suited to the bike, fits better, and the heads rotate!
Just, no option for color...

No picture, but CMSNL.com finally had the left side exhaust tip, so I bought it and swapped it in. Next month will be the manifold, then I need for the right side tip to become available. A new exhaust system for another 30 years!

(having a new exhaust tip pointed out to me that the old ones had been repaired at some point! If you look at the last picture I posted, you see the old tip. Someone welded a strip of Stainless Steel around the outside! I know the bike has slid in the past, and the repairs were 'affordable', to say the least!)

I am currently waiting for a special order part to arrive from England.
My upper radiator hose (Hose 'C', 19504ms2000) is a two-sized hose, 5cm in length.
It is also NLA everywhere I've looked! So, now I am waiting on a silicon hose.....
From England to Germany should only take three weeks! (Thanks, BREXIT!)
