well ive only changed my oil once cause i just got it and its only got 10,000 miles but if its any good for you i put honda hp4 in there. ive always liked lucas oil n might try their semi synthetic for mc's this next go around. i tend to change my oil often at 3,000 miles typically.
i could feel the difference in how my 954 shifted after doing the oil change after i got the bike. previous owner said he had changed it around 3,000 miles ago when i got the bike. i guess with changing it that often and just riding it on the street i dont expect to have any trouble with the oil breaking down n not doing its job so i felt like there wasnt a whole lot of need to spend a fortune on the high dollar boutique kinda oils n would give honda its fair chance. the honda oil is actually pretty well rated.
i plan on trying a few out myself and seeing if i can feel any difference between them but like i said i expect they all do just fine with frequent changes. just curious tho what have you used or do you use on yours? 89k is pretty good so whatever you are using must be working right? right!

I have recently been looking for a first generation 900RR (93-94) and everything I have found has well over 10K on the clock, Slight stress fractures on the fairings (sometimes full cracks), valve noise, no history and a $4k price tag.
