What kinda fuel mileage are you guys getting. I have an 06 1krr. I got 250 miles on the bike now and i have gone through 2 tanks of gas.

I havent been hard on it either. Havent been above 10k rpms. Is 125 miles a tank normal?

bout 105 miles to reserve as stock, a little bit more how its been set up with goodies, 115miles to reserve. Sure it would do lots more but uk roads I tend to ride are the twisties and demand lots of short bursts of accelaration/braking so I guess thats why its so much less than you guys in the USA?

You will find that gas mileage will improve somewhat after the break-in period. So you're bringing your bike close to 10,000 rpm with only 250 miles on your bike? Just wondering.

Not only does gas mileage improve after break in, it gets better over the life of the bike. My 600f4 used to be able to get 150 miles at most on a tank. Its over 180 miles per tank at the 62,000 mile mark.

My friends 05 1000rr get 120 miles until the light comes on that's with a +5 rear sprocket.

My 01 929 gets 36 mpg with the -1, +2 combo.

If I keep the bike long enough will it use no fuel at all? :rotfl:

Do you actually have one or did you just read about it? My mom gets 42 in it, but I get much more. She drives like the EPA testers with a leadfoot. More than 62 if I stay in the city.

i sold them and it was possible to get that milage but no one ever averages that. the 42mpg is much more accurate. i could get 65 out of it and i used to show my customers how. but almost everyone averages between 35-45 because of their driving style. that's all.
