gotta replace my wheel beerings ('96 900RR). stick with oem are there any after market bearing sets that are better or equal ?

Im looking for a rear kit also. But thats what you want to replace unless you really want a high dollar racing bearing, these are usually a better set than OEM and are probably more widely used in replacment.

I wouldnt see the advantage of ceramic bearings in an older bike. Motor will be blown and the clutch and transmission gone, but you can go downhill like crazy:rotfl:

And they thought the bike was quiet with a stock muffler:eek:

Apparently they dont make a rear wheel kit for the 929:mad:
I almost hate to order OEM, Gonna take forever to get an entire kit shipped.

If you find out the size of the bearings you can order some on ebay. I do it. You can get different quality and prices on there, just shop around. Bearing sizes are normally written on the bearing something like 6005rs or something similar. Sometimes the microfische will say.
