I was lookin around trying to find a nice strong all weather cover for my bike and I ended up finding the cheapest HARDCORE WEATHER cover...at Lowes hardware...it's a BBQ grill cover which means I don't have to wait for the bike's tail pipe to cool to put it on since the material is heat resistant for high temps (including the exhaust pipe) It also velcrows thru the wheels perfectly so the wind doesn't pull it off. I just thought I'd let you all know about it since it was only $30.

good question I'll get back to you when I try and set it on fire tomorrow ;-) not a clue and I'm prob not gonna try to see how hot it can get. all I know is the box said heat resistant from high temperatures. No it's not fire proof but I'm sure it's fine from canister burns/melts since it's not thin and crappy like walmart covers. (I'm not gonna thro it on my bike right after riding tho I'm just gonna put it on when I know it's gonna rain) sorry no answer on the question but it's one of those "does it really matter?" things... you shouldnt throw a cover over ur bike just after riding anyways cuz all that heat builds up and won't let the engine cool properly...I just mentioned the high heat in the event that it could help if you canister was still hot and you needed to cover it fast, like runnin from the cops. :eyebrows:
