I am writing a magazine article for a major USA motorcycle magazine on the RC-51. As part of the article I need some photos (high res digital) of some actual streetbikes. So if you have a cool RC and want it in a mag please send me an email with the pics.

I just need to know the mods you have, your first and last name, city and state, and maybe a few lines about what you really like about the bike, why you bought it, kept it etc.

Please email them to me at

motojournalism@aol.com

Also if you are a mechanic or have raced the RC at any level I would like to interview you. So please send me your phone, email info, and briefly tell me where you raced, how long or where you were a mechanic at etc. I need to learn about the strengths and weaknesses of the RC for the story.

Thanks !!

Here's a link to mine with pics:

-Arata Titanium Low Mount Pipes
-USB Power Commander
-Scotts Steering Damper
-Fabbri Double Bubble Winscreen
-Dussault Undertail
-Corbin Seat
-Magical Racing Carbon Fiber Hugger

And to the shaft given to me by Honda, if that's of any interest:

The RC is a special bike. I was so upset with Honda that I sold mine.....something I regretted almost instantly. Thanks to OSIRIS, I was able to track it down to its third owner last fall and bought it back.

You might also try ROGUE RC51 Owners Group of United Enthusiasts and Speedzilla Sportbike & Supermoto

Please keep us updated on the article, no matter what pics or story you use. :thumb:

Dux, that is a nice looking bike for sure but I need you to email me some HIGH res pics. Internet pics are not nearly big enough for me to print in a magazine article. Plus its a legal thing that you have to SEND THEM TO ME, for me to be able to print them, in other words I need a copyright release on them before I can print them.

The pics need to be around 3000x2000 or better if possible. Do you have anything like that?

You know, I never did.

At that time I was so mad that I sold the bike and moved on to BMW.

This issue was dead and after getting the GS Adv, I guess I was riding so much that I forgot to send it. :)

I'll see if I have it saved somewhere. Maybe I'll send it after-all.

I can add that after 5 straight years of buying or being responsible for at least one new Honda sale, that I've kept my promise to the regional rep. Due to their "customer service" there hasn't been another.

Don't get me wrong. I still think Honda builds a top-quality product. I bought the RC back, have picked up a used 600rr for the track and I will always consider a used one over almost any other brand when it comes to sport-bikes.

As for new, the customer service I've received from BMW will keep me coming back for a long, long time. Their product line is getting to be pretty sweet too. :)

Sorry for the thread-jack. Let's get back to the topic. Keep us posted on the mag article!!!!!!!!!!!
